Best Rides in Europa Park Germany You Should Experience

Rust, Germany 2018. Me and my boyfriend drove from Strasbourg and arrived at Europa Park around 0845h. Our mission was to experience all the wild rides in Europa Park since we are both thrill-seekers. We were so excited and did not mind the gloomy cold weather during our visit. There was also quite a huge crowd when we arrived. A lot of teenagers and families ready to have fun.

Europa Park is the second most popular theme park resort in Europe, following the famous Disneyland Paris.

Europa Park, Germany
It is a theme park that has a diverse event, colorful shows, exciting attractions, and of course the 15 roller-coasters rides for the thrill-seekers like us. Europa Park is split into 15 areas named from different European countries. The decorations and the attention to detail is amazing. It is perfect for all ages, kids, and adults. But if you don’t have enough time to experience all these amazing rides, here are my top 5 wild rides in Europa Park and some tips too.
Blue Fire, Europa Park

Blue Fire Megacoaster powered by Gazprom (located in Iceland)

  • A level 5 ride in Europa Park with a challenging and extreme thrill experience level. This ride is fantastic! Blue Fire Megacoaster is consists of several loops with a speed of 100km/h. If you are an adrenaline junkie, then this is the right ride for you! My favorite part about Blue Fire is that at one point you will feel like you’re flying.
Blue Fire, One of my Favorite Ride

Silver Star (located in France)

  • A level 5 ride in Europa Park with a challenging and extreme thrill experience level. Silver Star is my favorite ride in all the theme parks that I’ve been to in the world. It has a blazing speed of 130 km/h, and four times the force of gravity that will surely electrify anyone. It’s so intense, so be prepared. Don’t say that I didn’t warn you.

Woodan (located in Iceland)

  • A level 5 ride in Europa Park with a challenging wild and thrill experience level. Woodan is a one of a kind roller-coaster as it is made mostly by thick woods and it kinda gives you a rustic coaster feels too. It is also a fun ride as it is the only roller-coaster that crosses Blue Fire and Atlantica SuperSplash with a speed of 100km/h.
Woodan, Europa Park

Euro-Mir (located in Russia)

  • A level 5 ride in Europa Park with a challenging wild and extreme thrill experience level. Euro-Mir is the first ride that we’ve tried in Europa Park. It is a spinning 360’ ride with an 80km/h speed. A chill and fun ride any 8 years old and above should try.
Wild Rides in Europa Park

Water Roller-coaster Poseidon (located in Greece)

  • A level 4 ride in Europa Park with a wild and thrill experience level. An exciting and refreshing Greek theme roller-coaster and water ride. We actually ride Poseidon twice as we enjoyed the slight splash from Poseidon and a bit of rain (like a kid).

Europa Park Guides and Tips:

  • Make sure you book your ticket online to skip the lines and start your rides right away.
  • Download Europa Park App. This App made our trip super easy and more organized. It is a navigational park map with all the attractions and shows information. It includes the time of the shows or events, the queuing time for each ride, and their exact locations. You can also check it the day before so you can have an idea of what to expect.
  • Check the weather forecast. This is something we forgot to do.  We arrived in Europa-Park with gloomy and slightly rainy weather because we didn’t check the weather forecast. But the good thing with the gloomy weather is that there’s no queue at all. The maximum waiting time we had is around 15 minutes. We were able to ride Blue Fire and Silver Star thrice! It’s up to you what weather you prefer.
  • Wear comfy clothes.
  • Come early, the park opens before 0900h when we went there. Take the opportunity to experience all the ride as you can.
  • Make sure you watch the shows and try the VR rides too.
  • Europa Park has a lot of choices of restaurants, fast food, café, food stalls and more. You will be surprised by the quality of food that they have compared to other amusement parks.
  • Try Europa-Park Hotel. This is a good option if you are not on time constraints like us. Europa Park has budget hotels and luxury hotel options.
Mercedes-Benz Hall Arcade

Overall, Europa Park is definitely “The best amusement park” yet. The huge park is full of entertainment areas, adrenaline rides, colorful decorations, fun ambiance, good food, and it is also clean and very well maintained. Everything that a great amusement park should be. We really had a wonderful and exciting day at Europa park despite the weather (which is a blessing in disguise). And I highly recommend everyone to go visit it if ever you passed by Germany.
